Cairoli problemen?

Echt snel komt Cairoli niet naar voor, maar morgen is het pas echt belangrijk natuurlijk. Hij heeft nogal mindere kwalificaties gereden en dan op zondag gewonnen of podium gehaald .

Startplaatsen genoeg in duitsland , moet daar niet gestreden worden voor de eerste plaatsen.( ik denk 40)

Cairoli een secondje trager als Desalle. Maar Tony zat wel in het pak.
Dat beloofd dus voor morgen .

Voor de rest, Boog, Guarneri, Bobryshev. Dat zijn wel namen die je vanvoor verwacht. Maar zo ver vanvoor nu ook weer niet. Mooi gecrosst door die manne.

Ik denk dat de rondetijden echt wel kortbij mekaar lagen, hopelijk morgen mooie wedstrijden. De start wordt zoals altijd superbelangrijk hier in Teutschenthal

Volgens ik gehoord heb is Verbruggen weggedragen na aan val in de eerste ronde maar ik subiet horen ter bevestiging want... horen zeggen....

Rockstar Teka Suzuki World MX1's Clement Desalle started the Grand Prix of Germany at the hard-pack Teutschenthal circuit in the best way possible with his first pole position of the season and for the Belgian factory team on the works RM-Z450WS.

The 20-year-old Belgian grabbed the holeshot in the 20 minute and 2 lap Qualification Heat and led the sprint from start to finish for the fourth pole position of his career and the first in Suzuki colours.

Breezy, bright and dry conditions created a hard and rough Talkessel track near the village of Teutschenthal and close to the city of Halle. A bumpy and dusty terrain combined with a looping fast layout did not permit a raft of overtaking opportunities and placed extra importance on the exit of the gate; an element in which Desalle excelled and then rode a faultless race.

Steve Ramon placed eighth but is again struggling for full fitness after an infection due to a rock hitting his arm two weeks ago in the French Grand Prix has caused a great deal of pain. The former World Champion underwent treatment in order to compete and will be looking to salvage the best result possible across a course that he admits is not his favourite.

Changeable weather is predicted tomorrow for this eighth round of 15 in the FIM MX1 World Championship.

Clement Desalle:

"Today was a good race but it was only qualification and its tomorrow that counts! I had a good start and that is the important thing. The track is too fast and it is strange how narrow it is in places. Maybe it is good for the TV but not so good for the riders! There are not so many lines so it is hard to overtake and I was lucky I did not have to do that today when I had the holeshot. We have a chance to win tomorrow and I will do my best."

Steve Ramon:

"It was really hard for me. A rock hit my arm in the second moto in France and now I have an infection and have to take a lot of painkillers. I managed to get through the race in Kester last weekend but I have not been able to ride again during the week and it was tough here. If it were the left side then it would be OK but the track is slippery and I need to be careful with the throttle. The only way it can get better is by rest and with three GPs in a row that is not what I will get! I will just have to do the best I can."

blijkbaar toch blessure voor Dennis Verbruggen..
was er niet bij in de warm-up.
erg spijtig want Dennis was goed bezig en rijdt steeds sterk in Teutschenthal.
hij kreeg ook stilaan uitzicht op de top 10.hopelijk valt het nog allemaal mee.

Dennis is gevallen in de eerste ronde en door een andere rijder in zijn rug gereden.
Hij heeft problemen met de ademhaling en is nu in Herentals bij Dr. Claes.

Tixier blijft ongeslagen. 2e man in het klassement Rauchenecker deed een heel slechte zaak en finishte pas als 19e.

Janvier reed bijna de ganse wedstrijd op de 8e plaats,had in het begin moeite met het tempo maar vond steeds beter z'n draai en finishte sterk..hij werd alsnog 6e en finishte in het wiel van 5e man Justs.

Dewulf startte net in de top 15 en kon enkele plaatsjes winnen,maar zowel in ronde 5 als 6 kende hij problemen.hij viel terug naar de 17e plaats om nog als 16e te finishen..ook hij reed een heel sterke eindfase maar de achterstand was te groot.

Brackman startte net in de top 20..hij kwam heel even tot op de 16e plaats door de val van Dewulf maar moest die terug laten passeren.hij reed een constante wedstrijd,maakte ook halfweg een foutje maar dat kostte hem geen plaatsen.Wietse pakte opnieuw 4 punten wat gezien zijn geringe wedstrijdritme knap is.

Plessers had een slechte start,maakte enkele plaatsen goed maar kwam tot 3x toe ten val..het siert Matthias dat hij in wedstrijd bleef en naar het einde toe nog z'n snelste rondetijd reed.
hij finishte net buiten de top 30.

Ramon zou toch voor een geblesseerde Nagl moeten geeindigd zijn,maar meestal herpakt hij zich(hopelijk) in the second heat.
Strijbos mooi in stijgende lijn.
